Summary
You can cancel any VoxBooster subscription at any time, with no penalty and no cancellation fee. Cancellation stops the next auto-renewal — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
1. How to cancel a subscription
The fastest path is the dashboard:
- Sign in at voxbooster.com/dashboard;
- Open the Billing tab;
- Click Cancel subscription on the active plan;
- Confirm in the modal — we show your end-of-period date so you know exactly when access stops.
Cancellation is effective immediately in the sense that the next charge is canceled. Paid access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for (e.g., cancel on day 5 of a monthly plan, keep access through day 30).
You will receive a confirmation email within minutes. If you do not get one, check spam, then email [email protected].
2. Cancellation by email
If you cannot access your dashboard (lost password, account locked, payment dispute):
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with subject “Cancel subscription — [your account email]”. We process the request within 1 business day and reply with confirmation.
We never require a phone call, a video, or a reason to cancel.
3. What happens after cancellation
- Auto-renewal is disabled. No further charges will be made to your payment method.
- Paid access continues until your current period ends. You keep all features, all device slots, and all voice models through that date.
- At period end, the account drops to the free tier — sign-in, dashboard, blog, affiliate program continue to work; the Windows client paid features lock until you reactivate.
- Your data is preserved. Voice models, settings, devices, payment history, support tickets, and account email remain in your account for at least 12 months. You can resume at any time by purchasing a new plan — same email, same data.
4. Reactivating after cancellation
Sign in at voxbooster.com/dashboard, open the Billing tab, and pick a plan. Your previous device slots, voice models, and settings are immediately re-enabled the moment payment confirms.
If you reactivate during a trial-eligible window, the 3-day free trial does not restart — trials are one per account, lifetime.
5. Lifetime tier — different rules
The Lifetime tier is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel — no recurring charge will ever be made. If you want a refund of a Lifetime purchase, statutory withdrawal applies (7 days in Brazil, 14 days in EU/EEA/UK); after that window, no refund is offered. See the Refund Policy §6 for details.
6. Cancellation initiated by us
We may cancel a subscription, with notice when reasonably possible, for:
- Repeated Terms of Service violations (account sharing, fraud, abuse — see Terms §4);
- Chargeback filed without prior contact;
- Failed payments that cannot be retried successfully within 7 days (the subscription moves to
past_dueand is canceled at period end — no refund is owed because no successful charge occurred for the period in question); - Discontinuation of the Service (with 90-day notice — see Fulfillment §7).
In each case, we email the account address explaining the cancellation and any refund owed.
7. Pro-rated refunds on cancellation
Cancellation alone does not trigger a cash refund — you keep what you already paid for through the end of the period. Refunds are governed separately by the Refund Policy and statutory consumer rights (Brazilian CDC Art. 49 7-day, EU/EEA/UK CRD 14-day withdrawal).
8. Plan changes vs. cancellation
Switching plans mid-cycle (e.g., Monthly → Annual) is not a cancellation. The remaining days on the prior plan are preserved and added to the new plan via VoxBooster’s accrual-based credit model (vip_time_end aggregate). See Refund Policy §3.
